Bluemax Pay Expands Platform Features, Supporting Odoo Customers
Dan Smith

Throughout the summer of 2026, Bluemax Pay has been busy expanding its solution offerings to further cement its leadership status as an Odoo payments provider. Highly recognized as the best embedded payments processor within Odoo, Bluemax Pay furthered its platform to provide merchants with even more impactful features. This summer, Bluemax Pay focused its development efforts chiefly towards three key objectives:

  • driving down administrative time to reduce burdensome backend processes

  • expanding payment options to help businesses generate more revenue

  • simplify merchant business processes to enable a better customer experience

Auto Reconciliation

For merchants fed up with painfully slow week-end or month-end reconciliation, Bluemax Pay has further expanded its auto-reconciliation solution. Operators and accountants will love the new one-step reconciliation process. By leveraging Odoo Order, Invoice, and POS transaction data, coupled with payment data, Bluemax Pay simplifies payment reconciliation while applying appropriate ledger entries. In addition to saving countless administrative hours every month, users also benefit from a very high degree of data accuracy.

Pay by Bank

Working closely with our payment partner, Adyen, we have integrated and made available Adyen’s powerful Pay by Bank solution. Pay by Bank is a payment method that facilitates direct bank transfers via ACH. This solution allows shoppers to securely connect their US bank or credit union accounts for seamless transactions. This process is simplified by offering a single Pay by Bank integration, powered by Plaid, eliminating the need for merchants to manage separate banking providers.

Convenience Fees

For merchants whose business model requires offsetting the cost of electronic Payment Processing, Bluemax Pay enables the addition of Convenience Fees.  These fees can be a fixed amount or a percentage of your Odoo sales order or invoice. Regulations vary by state and should be discussed closely with Bluemax Pay.

Terminal Buyer Agreements

For merchants who sell or distribute products that require customers to acknowledge and agree to specific business terms, Bluemax Pay offers buyer agreements directly on the credit card terminal. For example, merchants with a specific returns policy for a set of products can integrate that policy for customers to sign directly on the terminal. Although it adds one step to the payment process, merchants can clearly delineate their business policies while gaining customer acknowledgment.
